I’d say show first, then comics. I think the show hooks you faster than the comics, which has a bit of a slower start. I watched season 1 and then read the comics while I was waiting for season 2.

I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer. The comics are completed and well done, but some aspects are a little dated. Robert Kirkman considers the show his second draft, but we’re at the beginning of season 2 when the whole story is going to be about 7 seasons long according to him.

Comic, it’s incredibly good and complete so you can finish that up whilst catching up in time with what the show is doing. Plus a lot easier talking about Invincible whilst not having to constantly avoid comic spoilers.
