The strongest Image heroes/teams don’t seem to exist, and they were responsible for killing a good number of marks. The GoTG were able to kill 2(?) and it cost them Rex and night boy…so what’re they gonna do here? Do you think it’ll just be glossed over?

I think the number of invading Marks will be reduced. It didn’t make sense in the comics anyway. If you had 16 Invincibles, and at least a few of them very close or even higher than Omni-Man’s level, Earth is surely doomed. Especially since there are plenty of alternate realities where JUST Omni-Man and Invincible were able to easily take over the planet.

This should be comic spoilers. Not show spoilers. You mention things that didn’t happen yet! D:

Yeah, but not because they are weaker, the show has buffed every top tier to be closer to viltrumite level.

The Immortal could beat a Mark on his own. Compared to the comic immortal getting no diffed with back up.

And before anyone tries to argue this, we saw this the first episode. When Nolan saved Mark from the immortal. he only interferes when Mark is incapable of handling something himself. That’s his consistent M.O.

I bet the villains of the world will also participate in team battles And we saw how 8 maulers almost killed our Mark. And of course lots of original show only heroes will be participating, to

They’ll still kill just as many Marks, it’ll just be more dramatic. And some characters will have better showings, like the Immortal and probably Bulletproof.

Have they buffed other heros or nerfed Mark though? Omni Man doesn’t seem nerfed to me, it’s just Mark who manages to catch beatings in every episode.

Tbf that was an alternate universe Mark and Immortal so it’s kinda irrelevant to main universe show Mark and Immortal

A bit unrelated, but is there a reason Amazon won’t acquire rights to those other comics? Invincible is clearly one of their biggest shows, so making more stuff in the same universe seems like a no-brainer

I feel that, considering how early they have shown Angstrom meeting different versions of Invincible, they will have fewer Evil Marks, and that the Invincible War will replace the first showdown with Angstrom at the end of this season, combining them into one event. For TV, this will have far greater impact as the first fight with Angstrom in the comic doesn’t really have the same viewer pull and shock value as the first fight with Omniman in season 1. I hope they stretch it out more, but I feel this eventuality is more likely

The show version of Omni-Man’s beatdown of Invincible already turned out bloodier than the comics one. This is definitely going to happen.

I’m going through the comics right now and I’m surprised how abrupt some events play out compared to what I saw on the show. I think what especially surprised me was the comic version of the GotG getting killed. The show was absolutely brutal compared to the comic for that event.

Also, the subway scene. In the comics Nolan beats Mark into a subway tunnel, derailing a metro train, they punch each other some more, and then fly the F off when the tunnel collapses.
