To be fair, Reddit is always the well for negatives, which is really sad. Most subreddits I go on have a lot of negative discussions to the point where it’s not possible to just discuss about the franchise.

First of all, you didn’t mark this as a comic spoiler (The 50 purebloods wasn’t revealed in the show), but to answer your question, you can see how much respect he carries even after betraying the empire. Thula straight up tells Mark she will make his death quick because he is Nolan’s son. Implying that if he had been some random Viltrumite she would take her time, and “give him the proper punishment”.

I didn’t realize the fucking legend Clancy Brown will be voicing him. This automatically makes him one of my favorite characters in the adaptation.

They made the Son vs Father fight WAY worse than in the comics. This makes me very confident that this will be just the same. We find the comic version brutal and crazy, but the show version is going to say “Screw that” and one up it.

For the people that don’t know this character is constantly forgotten by everyone. He participated in many battles as an Avenger, but gets forgotten shortly after. If they go down the route that he was an Avenger, that would mean he was there during the Battle of New York, Sokovia, Maybe Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame.

I had no clue he voiced Cecil. Last time I saw him was in the 2nd Antman. Very different role. I couldn’t have guessed he was the voice of Cecil in a million years. Guess he is really versatile.

Show onlies are going to feast! I am honestly really envious of the people who held out and didn’t read the comic like me. It’s such a good story, and I feel that the show is the best way to experience it.

I would wait until they animate BIG SPOILER SERIOUSLY DON’T LOOK.

An Invincible LEGO Game would go hard. It would be so funny seeing LEGO people ripping each other apart.

Personally as someone who doesn’t give a single fuck about the game since season 6 of the first part or whatever that’s called, I have to say these skins look absolutely gorgeous and they truly replicate the comic book look. The only issue I have with it is that dumb tik tok kids will think these characters are from Fortnite originally.

The only complaint I have is that they always use those 3 characters. I personally want them to use some other characters as well. I understand why Mark and Nolan are there. They are the faces of the franchise, but Eve is always included and for a good reason. She is a great character, but it’s kind of weird including her as a skin in everything considering she has a pretty ugly superhero costume in my opinon. Like I love all the outfits in the franchise, but she is a contender for the worst one. Just a little rant though coming from a guy who wants to see the likes of Battle Beast, Immortal, Rex Splode, Robot and others a little more.

Nice to see they’re adapting stuff from the comics too. Although this is a weird choice for an Invincible game. It kind of seems they’re trying to push Even into a big level of popularity. I like here as a character but I feel like other characters deserve the spotlight.

Yeah, but idk if they will show the mess he made of Angstrom. It’s a different medium so revealing the brutality of the beating would hammer home that he is “dead” and would be the perfect thing to circle back to the beginning of the season (evil Mark and all). On the other hand not revealing the fucked up head of Angstrom would get people excited but scared, because it’s “So fucked up to even show”. I like both options but I would rather they change things and go with the first.

Couldn’t you just beat up a Viltrumite somehow and collect the blood that was dropped. Like it won’t be infected if it’s in a clean and safe environment. You would need to capture one for this however.

I feel like you’re looking for Manga my guy. Invincible is like a great lovechild between American and Japanese comics. It’s story and ideas are clearly Wester, but it adapts it in a Japanese story structure (Long running story with a teenage protagonist) and has a concrete ending. I recommend One Piece (Not finished yet), Hunter x Hunter (Also not finished) and Attack on Titan (Has some funny parallels to Invincible, but I won’t spoil it).

I am now even more excited. I am now looking forward to every scene getting animated.

I feel like he should commit to having Tech Jacket, because he plays a very big part in the Viltrumite War.
