Granted I saw the part where she’s introduced (her closet doesn’t look cluttered). I can’t find the part where they go to her storage locker. Is that it?

I saw where he tells her not to speak down to his fiance even though she doesn’t speak Spanish (room didn’t look cluttered)

What did I miss

There is a storage unit with every square inch stuffed right up to the ceiling and to the door. She has boxes taking up the whole kitchen and they are filled with junk…they type of stuff hoarders hang onto. Half the living room is also filled with her stuff. It’s why there’s no furniture in the house besides their beds. It’s pretty obvious she’s a hoarder.

Previous weeks’ episode. They showed her storage unit, packed to the gills. Also, her stuff is in storage bins in the living room. She’s “temporarily” living with her son to save money for her own place. She’s been there for three years! There’s a deeper issue going on.

I would not consider them hoarders, the appartement is just way too small for three adults and many pets. There’s not enough space for their personal belongings so it’s normal that’s it’s everywhere in the living areas. The mom is sleeping in the closet that would otherwise probably hide and store all that mess that we’re seeing in their living room.

I think mom’s a hoarder, but son is trying to manage the situation (and barely is). I’d bet you that not one thing in the storage unit is his.

Hoarding means you can’t use rooms for their intended purpose due to the volume of stuff. I.e. can’t cook in your kitchen, can’t sleep in your bedroom, etc. I think without Clayton, the home would be stuffed to the gills.

Clayton mentioned she buys things, but never opens or uses them. The storage unit clearly had unopened packages in it.

This is exactly how my mom was. She was a compulsive shopper which turned into hoarding. The whole house including garage and attic were stuffed full of beautiful, brand new items like sheets, costume jewelry, books- things she would intend to give as gifts but then they’d get lost in the piles so she’d buy them two to three times over. It was really sad. She’s passed away, but this was my life all growing up and till my 30s

Best case scenario - going on this show allows her to get the help she needs and to move out. But this is TLC…

That many animals in that small a space, phewuuueee.

Anali, grab your stuff & go. While you are courting, this is the best it’s gonna be.

The cork collection gave me “You may be a hoarder if…” vibes. The storage unit cinched it for me. 📦😬😂
