This season of 90 Fiance is the second one I’m watching, which means it’s also my first time seeing returnees such as Kenny and Armando and Yohan and Danielle. My partner, who is a big fan and has watched all seasons, told me Danielle was horrible in her first one. I don’t know to what extend, but is it really a big enough reason for the community to constantly defend Yohan and say she deserves everything happening to her?
I personally have no sympathy for Yohan, he is an entitled little boy that doesn’t understand how life in a relationship/not living at mom’s work, that wants everything right now, right here, as if money was falling from trees. He’s clearly with her entirely for the money and it makes me sad for her.
Not saying Danielle may not be bad herself, again, I don’t know anything form her outside of that season, but can’t we at least settle with “they’re both terrible” instead of making it look like Yohan’s behaviour is completely fair and justified.
He is what is called a ‘sanky panky’. He wanted to be kept from the beginning. Total loser.
My theory is that people tend to choose someone as the villain and someone as the victim and generally it becomes such a “fact” that no matter what those people do they will always be whatever people originally decided. Rarely do people acknowledge that both people suck at least to some degree.
They are both awful but Danielle is a hall of fame POS

Daniele treats Yohan like property. He’s only recently gotten mean. For a long while he treated her pretty respectfully.
I’ve watched them from the beginning, LIP, and I dislike them both. I think the biggest issue people have with Danielle is her (1) bankruptcy and the audacity of trying to be any type of life/money coach. (2) how she responds to criticism on SM by saying people are basically haters because she’s crazy evolved and (3) how their relationship is obviously transactional but she wants to play the victim by acting like it wasn’t.
Lastly, her lying and laughing at him in English that she was not bringing him to the US was a dick move. Especially knowing he would see it later, with the entire would. That’s not respectful behavior.
They’re both scamming each other, so financially they’re both trash, but Yohan is also a misogynist so personally he’s worse IMO
He’s another one who wants her to be the breadwinner and still be the head of the household (but like with less risk to bodily harm than with Andrei from previous seasons…)
You need to go back to 90 Day Paradise… you’ll get it

Well she totally lied to him from the beginning. Said they would live in DR for a year and move to New York. In the year before she moved to the DR she racked up 300K in debt in NY, filed for bankruptcy, and left knowing she was not coming back. This after they were already married. So she comes back the DR and tells him, guess what, I’m living here permanently now. She never intended to move back to the states and never intended to get him a visa let alone a green card.
I have wondered ever since the first episode why their ONLY two choices of living together are in the DR or NYC.
I lost whatever sympathy I had for him with the preview for next week where he picks up the dog on his way out the door. No matter what happened between the two of them, that is clearly Danielle’s dog and trying to take him is something only a truly rotten person would do.
Not justifying, but I think it was because she wouldn’t let Yohan take anything she had bought him, and I could be wrong, but he gifted her the dog, so to go tit for tat he grabbed the dog. This was my husband’s take. I didn’t catch it. Is it possible that’s what’s going on?
Why are you trying to side with any of these horrible people? The only reason she can live the way she can is because she has access to an American salary. Yohan does not. She’s financially manipulating him for her benefit. Yohan is an idiot. He believes she’s actually going to make good with her promises. She’s quit emasculating him for the most part out in the open but he should have left. Overall these two dum duma deserve each other for trying to finesse each other out of something.
You should watch Love in Paradise. They are awful but I don’t feel bad for either one and I sure as hell don’t feel bad for Daniele. She knew the relationship was transactional and couldn’t hold up her end of the deal. Nothing he is saying should come as a shock to anyone and least of her too.
He already broke up with her at the tell all for the previous season. She seems to have convinced him she’d “take care” of him in the DR but can’t live the lifestyle she wants without him contributing to it. I would like to see her financial troubles shown on the show. I know why she can’t sponsor him (bankruptcy) but I get the feeling that she hasn’t told him.
