I’m American but that annoys me too. I forget her name but I doubt the witch girl with the weird sullen fiancé speaks perfect Spanish, but the way they captioned it makes it seem like she’s speaking fluent Spanish. Same goes for Daniele.
Yup exactly. Yet, they’ll subtitle word for word the English of the foreigner, even when it’s grammatically incorrect. But for the American, they’ll allow their shitty ass Spanish to look fluent in the subtitles, as alluded to.
I think we do have to commend them for trying. So many on this show don’t know ANY of the language of their partner or their partner’s culture, which to me is appalling (do you not have google or any search engine?)
