It’s not the end of the world, but the Nolan reintroduction feels disappointingly quick. It’s been a while since I read the comic, but in it the fight happens in issue 12 and Thraxa in issue 25. I understand that things have been shifted around, but it really would have felt more rewarding to go a whole season without him.
The reason it’s sped up is because of the size of the season
Same with season 1 Alot of comic story points were done quickly for the show
It’s been 2 years, just think of it that way.
This is a TV show where Oscar winning JK Simmons’ Omni-Man is the breakout character in the pop culture. They weren’t going to bench him for an extended period of time.
Probably knew his popularity would mean they wanted him to return faster to keep the side of viewers who just stay for star power to remain engaged.
Bruh first people were complaining about nothing interesting going on because if his absence and now that he’s here people are complaining it was “too fast” 💀
I actually like it because most people would expect it to be longer without seeing him so this kind of just made it more shocking, also it’s been 2 years since omni man left the earth even though it’s only been 3 episodes so far it’s been a long time
Two years for us like 4-5 months in universe.
I mean this was always gonna happen in season 2 no question I feel this was a good place to put him
I think it happens at the right time, like u said traxa happens issue 25 I think we will be at issue 50 by the end of the season, they also can fit a lot into 5 episodes. If feels kinda weird but there was also a 3 month junp between episode 2 and 3.
