nah seriously, idk anymore with this couple. they keep asking their followers for “donations” for monkey funds, laptop money so she can work, etc. etc. and telling everyone that they are financially struggling yet they can buy a PS5, an iPhone 15 PM, and even get a braces that she doesn’t need! 🙄

their priorities are really all over the place. poor kid will grow up on parents who doesn’t know how to invest for her future.

Oddly, she just posted a video on YouTube of her, Brandan, Lola, and Lolo going to the Filipino equivalent of a Goodwill market to shop used clothing, shoes, purses, toys. Used toys and stuffed animals for the kids, brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max for Mary #priorities #momoftheyear

Alot of poor financial planners splurge on the latest gadgets without thinking about essentials. Bad priority judgement.

They’ll sell them for an insane mark up at their store. Genuinely curious, will the birth & hospitalization be paid for by family?

I also saw she gave her niece an Alaska milk :( like damn that milk only costs $10. She could give a better milk but gave the cheapest one instead. She never gives the best for the kids. I wonder how is she treating her kid too.

Unfortunately this is common in the Asian community. Growing up, I would see my friends parents driving really nice Lexus and Audi with Gucci shoes, buy their kids all the shiny toys and a big house meanwhile their kids have 0 college fund, theyre super behind on their mortgage and the fridge is always empty. And more than once our plans for the night were ruined by the power being cut off.

That is unfortunate - I had a very different (almost opposite) experience. My parents prioritized education. They would never spend money extravagantly on anything and the bills were always paid before buying anything unnecessary.

I completely relate to this from Jimmy O Yang: “the art is in the savings; never pay full price” 😅😂

Oh yeah my parents didn’t fall into that category either but more than a couple of my friends did and my mom definitely had to keep my Dad in line financially
