I hope the last episode finishes after this with Mark stranded in this dimension. I think it’ll manage to shock people more than the season 1 ending
i think the last episode will set up the invincible war or at least tease it
After episode 2 I was a little concerned that this wouldnt be happening. They showed Angstrom already gathering invincibles, but in the comics that was plan b. He didnt do that until he first attacked debbie and we got this scene

True, I did misphrase that, but he is visiting them and preparing.
I think it’s ep 7 Robert Kirkman was mentioning that this episode is really out of the box compared to the comic version so that’s when I’m guessing.

Weird place to end it, considering literally right after, he’s met with the guardian of the globes in that dimension
i think it will be episode 6 or 7 maybe even earlier, season finale will probably be cecil vs mark.

This isn’t in any chapter of a book I’ve seen. This was from issue 30 of the Invincible comic.
This is one of the moments that really shocked me in the comic as I don’t think Mark had been this brutal so far if I’m remembering correctly so it was a shock to see him do something like this
It was the first time we really saw Mark’s temper get out of control to this extent, and it really showed how far mark was willing to go to protect the people he loves, which would come up a lot more throughout the series.
It’s funny because I had the idea to, once Mark got sent to Spider-Man’s dimension, read the marvel team-up comic, and the huge tonal shift from Invincible and Spider-Man shenanigans to “I thought you were stronger” in just a couple pages was huge
Yeah it was. One of my favorite moments in the whole series. Made me “oh shit” out loud.

My guess is the end of episode four. Would be a great cliffhanger for the mid season break.
So let me get this straight, and no disrespect meant at all.
You think they’re going to adapt >!the viltrumite fight with mark and Nolan, mark repairing the kingdoms damages for a month or 2, mark reuniting with his family and friends, the lizard leagues decimation of duplikate, shrinking Rae, and Rex splode, potentially omnipitus or more likely the sequids but without mark, and on top of that gigantic custom subway sandwich, the ENTIRE ANGSTROM LEVY CONFRONTATION?!< all in one episode?
The way things have been it could be episode 7 and if not then it’s the finale.
What happens in the sequence leading up to this moment?
Angstrom takes Debbie and Oliver hostage; proceeds to send Mark through various dimensions, two being the Marvel and Dc universes where he meets Spider-Man and Batman. Mark then gets an opening and beats Angstrom to a pulp after Angstrom takes himself and Mark to a completely desolate dimension, stranding Mark.
How does he get back?

Huh I’ve never read this part but I’ve seen the memes. And in the moment he forgets that Angstrom is all brains and no brawn hence he beats him to a pulp right?
No, Angstrom tells him beforehand that he has enhanced his body and that he’s physically strong as well.
This looks brutal.

I know it’s a super long way away for either of them, but I’m really just waiting for them to animate, >!“My skeleton”!< or, >!“Being a hero is bullshit”!< myself.
