I read the comics after season 1 and I loved them, but they will definitely spoil things in the show so your choice is to either spoil the show or wait a few years to get the full story through the show.

This has got to be a shitpost, there is no way this guy is giving these kind of replies with such certainty on purpose especially since people here have actually read the comics.

This is one of the moments that really shocked me in the comic as I don’t think Mark had been this brutal so far if I’m remembering correctly so it was a shock to see him do something like this

I loved it because it showed us where Eve came from which is important to understand and for the majority of people that haven’t read the comics it would have been fun for them to see her origin story. It also shows more of her family life and the relationship she has with her father which is an important aspect of her character and will be important going forward with her character

I think it’s a little unfair to that say she ”murdered” them considering her siblings were not going to leave her alone until they had killed her and Eve was just a kid in this episode so her choice was to either kill or be killed as she hadn’t been in many fights at this point in time while her sibling’s obviously had some sort of healing factor so they would keep on coming to kill her unless she put an end to them. An older Eve probably would have found a way to incapacitate them or would have been able to call for help from the Guardians or something, but young Eve was on her own and still trying to get a grasp of her abilities and she obviously didn’t want to die, so she killed them because she felt like she had no other choice.

So what your post tells me is that your idea of a good female character is to either have her be a ”big busted, single minded alien boob model” or naive and lovestruck which both seem very one note to me, so the problem you really have is that they are changing the female characters to actually give them some actual personality which shows where your head is at.

Kate was right about Rex by the way. He cheated on Eve with Kate so he has no right to call Kate out on “cheating” especially since Rex and Kate were never actually in a relationship.

Yeah I was really hoping for more screen time for Eve especially because they gave her a special episode, but hopefully in part 2 she will have a bigger part to play.

Yeah that moment really hit me when I read it in the comics and I gotta say there is a lot more shocking moments just like that throughout the series so it’s gonna be brutal to see them depicted in animation.
