NOT DANGEROUS

The people who get mugged first are people like Armando, I don’t know if he is just putting a show but the whole thing is ridiculous. Armando and Kenny, are like going to Medellin Market and living in the Roma neighbourhood (that’s where all the foreigners live) it’s also one of the safest neighbourhoods in the city. It’s not like he is living in Oceania, Iztapalapa, La Viga or even Tláhuac. I’m born and raised in Mexico City, and I can say I have visited most of the city, and Armando being all freaked out about the city it’s like no dude, you don’t know the hoods in the city.

For anyone watching I can just tell you to come to visit Mexico City, the food it’s amazing from Michelin restaurants to stalls on the street, there is a lot of night life and if that’s not your thing there a lot of museums and beautiful architecture.

I’m on episode 2 so no spoilers please!

Did you see the British version of 90days? One was filmed in Mexico City and it was interesting how the foreigner was scared to step outside.

I believe it was filmed in Guadalajara. But either way their reaction was stupid.

I can’t speak for what’s said in the UK, but I find the media in Canada and US paint all of Mexico to look like it’s straight out of Narcos. Now, I’m sure there’s a fair share of dangerous areas, but there’s plenty of safe areas as well.

From my own experience, I stayed in Monterrey for 3 months, and would frequently visit. There was never a time where I felt my life was in danger.

Or how her family insinuated his family couldn’t be trusted with their luggage. Honestly I think the production company has getting away with pushing their own stereotyped bigotry and ignorance for years with these stupid storylines.
