As for you question i am confident the show will handle it pretty well, i hope they add some extra scenes to it, just how they developed Nolan’s relationship with the Debbie in season 1 and added that little arc of her finding out the truth, which was non existent in the comics.

Kind of similar to Megatron in the lost light in the IDW Comics, and how the Boys feel about Butcher in season 3 is more non trustworthy.
