Was rewatching season 1 and compared to that this season is so boring. Season 1 gripped you right away with twists and plenty of action while season 2 has been a soap opera so far. Yea we get it we’re supposed to care about Mark and Ambers relationship but omg,… (YAWN). I get that this season is more expository but thats how I feel.

why did we have to wait for half of the entire season that almost took 3 years to make for it to potentially become decent?
Honestly imagine if the first episode of season one was stretched across 3 episodes

totally agree season 1 had me hooked from the start with all the action and twists. season 2 feels a bit slow-paced in comparison focusing too much on mark and amber’s relationship. i get that it’s important but i’m hoping for more thrilling moments in the upcoming episodes!
yeah but i don’t even get why we spend so much time on this relationship since it really is of absolutely no importance in the comics. i do think they spend way too much time on this and kinda dragged the show down. it’s just irrelevant. i guess since they did cast zazie beetz that they wanted to give her something to do, but they really didn’t. amber has no storyline without mark and not even that is a real storyline
then episode 4 happens
With Invincible being one of my favorite shows after watching season 1, I have to say the first 4 episodes of season 2 have been a letdown. Where is the action from the first season?! I really hope things pick up in a fast way for the next 4 episodes. The way the show has been paced in season 2 has given me Secret Invasion vibes.
It just feels so dull now, the conversations are always so meaningless and the fight scenes rarely partake in the carnage that the show kind of promises. If the writers aren’t native to America i could totally understand the lack of relatable story telling, i just feel as though these poor choices that the producers are making are obvious. I feel as though i’m just waiting for it to be over. It so slowwwwwwww i expected so much more.
100% soooooo boring. Scenes feel like they drag out. Like REALLLY drag out. The relationship and college bs is painfully dull. Also a lot of extremely mellow dramatic scenes that drag on and on. ALSO, animation of the action scenes appears to have taken a hit in quality. Really hopping the second half of this season saves it.
