BoJack says, “I need you to tell me that I’m a good person. I know that I can be selfish and narcissistic and self-destructive, but underneath all that, deep down, I’m a good person, and I need you to tell me that I’m good. Diane? Tell me, please, Diane. Tell me that I’m good.”
In the silence, softly, hauntingly, you hear a loon call, then Harper’s giggle.
That was the most heartbreaking part for me. The fact that with each passing moment of silence, that fantasy gets further and further away. Because that fantasy is only attainable for good people. 🥺
