But I am not sure how much this new wave of sympathy for her is going to last.

She is quite cool this season and is nice to see more positive posts about her after falling victim to mischaracterization last season, but I am not sure how much is it going to last, if the people feel they drag too much this AmberXMark thing in the show, most of people are waiting for Eve and Mark to happen. I know the comics, they have material for Mark and Amber to cover while still being together even for half of season 3. But most of the fandom doesnt reads the comics, but many expect or know that Mark and Eve are together in the comics. People are gonna complain about it here too sooner or later.

And there is also well, Amber meeting Gary, while Mark is gone. In the comics, she feels alone being with a superhero and not having to tell anyone about her adventures with Mark, its a lot of pressure for a normal person. But I have been part of many fandoms, and I have seen this happen with many female characters. When this is going to be adapted, is going to be used against Amber. Probably gonna be called a cheater (even though mark cheats on her with eve in Africa in comics, but they the main characters and are going to have more sympathy from the fandom) and being compared to Debbie who endured being with a superhero all her life.

I am not sure if Amber is gonna have new haters by then who are going to be very loud about it, or the present haters that she has are going to become very loud again in the future.

This is not some critique of anyone, I just wanted to express my thoughts.

Oh yeah if they adapt the cheating part Amber is going to be crucified by the intetnet yet again even though Mark is also guilty of cheating. Kind of hope they don’t adapt that part just to save us from the drama. I like Amber in this season and hope she and Mark can break things off amicably like in the comics, and hopefully she doesn’t become the internet’s punching bag again.

I mean, Mark and Eve only kissed, and they both acknowledged that it was wrong and whatnot.

It was implied that Amber and Gary had sex, even if Mark didn’t want to think of it like that.
