What is going on in America? In Germany, if such a book had so much demand they’d make a joke about it and consider buying a second exemplary (what would take 3 months due to bureaucracy)
Maybe a side note on the local newspaper would be released or a bookstore next to the library would run an ad that they have the book in stock.
We have those rooms in USA as well, students also aren’t allowed unless they’re helping the teacher to grab the 30 copies. I’ve only seen it once myself, but I was never really the kid the teacher asked for help.
Yeah so a lot of people in America sympathized with the Nazis, like important and prominent people.
Literally if the Japanese didn’t attack Pearl Harbor, we would never have entered the war.
Also, we took in a lot of top Nazis for prominent government roles immediately after the war.
On top of that, the pilgrims, the people we like to pretend founded america, came here because they thought that England was too lax on religious intolerance.
Very odd on a lot of that. But to focus on one, the pilgrims left england because of religious persecution. Pilgrims were Protestants whereas England is Anglican.

The pilgrims should have been persecuted harder, it would have saved a lot lot of trouble down the line
Very tolerant.
Too lax on the wrong religious intolerance.
When I went to school in Rheinland-Pfalz we did have a library…
