They said early on in this season that she lived in India for a year before deciding to move there permanently to be with TJ. Did people not see where she said that the things she chose for the apartment construction were not what she picked out before she left? Why is everyone saying she should have researched the culture? I’m pretty sure living there for a year can equal to doing some research on the internet.
I will take this moment to also talk about how people are quick to criticize Kimberly’s blow ups, but ignore how she ended up at that point? TJ is completely and entirely unsupportive of her feelings and absolutely REFUSES to comfort her or simply acknowledge when he has hurt her! Anytime she is upset he literally cannot comprehend how it’s his fault. The first night she is there she asks him “Can you just say that you hurt me?” She wasn’t asking for him to apologize or to take responsibility for the poor construction. She just wanted him to recognize she was hurt and he couldn’t even give her that. If I had a partner who could never apologize or comfort me when I’m upset, I’d probably scream like a banshee too.
