Can I get a tiny spoiler from the comics on what the books are that Nolan was talking about? Just the bare minimum pls
Books are inspired by Nolan’s past and viltrumite culture, history etc.
When he wasn’t being Omni-Man, Nolan was an author. That was mentioned in the first season, and again this episode. His works of fiction are secretly autobiographies, all the protagonists being him. Meaning any time one of his characters gets hurt, that would be a very real thing that can hurt Viltrumites.
He was an author. He was being literal. The books he wrote while he was on earth.
They actually show the covers of a couple of his books. If you go back and look at it, it’s foreshadowing a couple things that’ll come into play later on. For example the book Debbie holds titled “savage planet savage beasts”
