      This episode ends around the same place as issue 29 so if you’re looking for somewhere to start, I’d start from there. I will say however, the comic does develop and expand on some stuff the show hasn’t so if you’re interested you could go back and read from the beginning, it is a bit slow at the start but it really picks up.

      If you end up skipping the beginning, I’d still recommend reading the events of this episode, which start with Issue 27, because there are a few changes and it’s just a really intense fight. You will end up re-reading a few a plot points that have already been adapted (Robot getting his new body, the Re-animen, etc) but you won’t miss anything all that important
