His Mates and Kids: NOW THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR ME!
This line legit made me do a little giggle
Also Kregg: We don’t want to conquer Earth anymore.
To think that one day Mark will be his boss.
He just needs a taste of that humussy to come around to reason
THRAAAGGGG
THAT HUMUSSY HAS GOT ME QUESTIONING MY LOYALTY TO VILTRUM
Legit every viltrimite wanted the humussy
Hell Kregg went for seconds. And thirds. And fourths. And-
Well, not everyone.
Ya are you referring to the Filthy Rapeist Female Viltrumite who will be shown as well in the 2nd part of season 2
i do like their being a little hint at him being one of the quickest converts: his talk to mark is purely practical, no sadism or talk of superiority, its just “you wanna protect these people? heres how to keep more of them alive” hes not GOOD but he still clearly sees the value in avoiding bloodshed and actually using his words rather then just "do what i say or ima pull your hip bone out of your mouth)
On the other hand, he’s the carrot, not the stick.
The stick is probably going to come fuck Mark’s day up either in s3 or at the end of this season, depending on how fast they move.
No way the stick comes this season, but I would be so happy if it would
Part of why I say “depending on how fast they move” is because Invincible War is going to require some heavy cuts and alterations to get in (because it’s so reliant on the other Image characters in the comic), they’ve already kind of set it up at the start of this season, and I could absolutely see them doing it in the back half of s2.
They’ve been putting off Angstrom too long to not do anything with him, so I expect the back half of the season to be pretty relatively heavy on his plotline. If they speedrun to the meme template scene and immediately do Invincible War, I could actually see the stick in question being the s2e7 cliffhanger and the meat of s2e8.
We talking conquestick?
Yes
Yea, he even mentioned marks sympathy towards humans. If it was a more blood thirsty viltrumite I don’t think they’d even mention that
Can’t wait to see the Viltrimites loving earth and their children.
I feel like Kirkman is slowly sprinkling little things in there for the comic fans. And it’s totally something he would do to dive deeper into those characters and their lives on earth.
The TV series has been using the power of hindsight very well. You can notice how many things are under the umbrella of “I wish I had done it like this instead”
