Isn’t it wild Omni-man is able to slice other Viltrumites open with his barehand? Imagine if humans were able to do that to each other, the Viltrumites have an insane amount of trust amongst each other. It also seems to be Nolan’s favourite move as well lol.

I was thinking this exact thing while watching it. I am so relived someone else was wondering this. They’re the same race and seemingly pretty evenly matched but Nolan could slice through Lucan like a sword. I’m not complaining about it, it’s just crazy to me.

They can all do that, remember the fight scene on viltrum from season 1? They were all tearing each other apart in only a few hits. And they don’t trust each other, they don’t care about each other or love the others, and if one of them does do that to the other they’ll take it as a good thing because it made them stronger

True, it just seems like Nolan is the best at it. I haven’t read the comics but he seems to be really formidable against his own species.

        Imagine him as special forces.

Not the strongest but easily in the top 1% and certainly highly rated by people who are as good.

Yeah I don’t wanna spoil the comics, so this is a mild spoiler but >!he is one of the strongest viltrumites and some younger viltrumites even called him their hero!<

Exactly. One should special attention to how Nolan was being addressed in the most recent episode. Aside from the fact that he’s a traitor, everybody was talking Nolan up as if he has racked up some big daddy accomplishments in the past. Nolan was not just some rank and file dude in the Empire.

The knife hand technique seems to only work with perfect timing/placement. We see it used against stationary opponents (Immortal, Allen), but against a Viltrumite it only worked as a very lucky opportunity attack - and even then only a narrow cut along a straited muscle band.

Apart from what others have said, Nolan was chosen for the planet colonization program and even before that he was respected(to not say spoilers), so there is a chance he is one of the stronger viltrumites out there

Everyone is yapping about the fighting. They forget that he resisted the pull of a black hole from a few kilometers away. Can you even begin to conceive the strength required to do that?

He was absolutely more than a few kilometers away most black hole event horizons are further than that. The biggest thing to take one of is how fast o jects were accelerating towards the black whole and it definitely seemed slower than I how things accelerate towards earth so he was actually likely very very far away.

forget resisting the pull, how did he travel so far in six months?! the nearest black hole is about 1,500 light years from earth - assuming he took a straight path, arrived at the black hole, and then only took a day to get back to the traxan homeworld and start a family, he would’ve had to been traveling over 3,000 times the speed of fucking light

On season one, when he leaves earth and the government is tracking him, they say he leaves the solar system like minutes after he flies away.

Idk about all viltrumites, but Nolan has broken the speed of light twice already in the show

Nevermind that the planet Nolan was on with the bug people was stated to be Two Galaxies away.

I guess outside of atmospheric conditions a Viltrumite can increase their flight speed exponentially, surpassing light itself. No idea how that would work, but Viltrumites are stated to be able to manipulate gravity to fly, so…

It’s discussed later but viltrumites have a harder time using their powers on a planet they don’t want to 100% destroy. Like when Mark caused that wave or Omni-man vs the flaxans as the opposite

I mean, have you seen what an elbow strike to the head from a professional fighter can do? It just pops your head open like a banana peel.

That lady has a blade in her hair that can cut them. So they can all go buy special Ginsutrimite knives to carry around and do the same.

Sure it’s necessary. It gives her range. Maybe all the top level soldiers can do it with their hands or maybe they all can period… but she has the ability to do it with range. It shows that there exists metal that can cut them rather easily… at least in their hands.

I believe Omni-Man is also supposed to be much stronger than the average Viltrumite, he’s like an elite level Viltrumite.
