I’m really glad the writers didn’t go with the more obvious/cliche decision of making PC resent Diane due to her own fertility issues. There is a moment where she loses her temper but it’s obvious it was in the heat of the moment. The two don’t have that many moments together but the moments they do have are very strong.
It’s a lot more obvious when you’re rewatching the abortion episode after watching the Ruthie arc, but she did throw in some condescending comments about how lucky she is to get a fetus of her own and she doesn’t want it.
