Out of the entire series. Which episode of Bojack Horseman is the best ever made in your opinion.

Here’s the catch: just pick one episode. Mine is The Judge.

I don’t think it was the best, but the episode where I decided to keep watching was The Telescope. That was the episode where I realized this wasn’t just some dumb cartoon. It was magical

There’s a lot of great episodes, but if I had to pick one I’d pick probably the single most daring episode they’ve done:

    “Downer Ending”.

That’s right, way back in season 1. I don’t think any viewer really expected something that heavy and dark from what seemed to be a slightly more serious and serialized “Family Guy”. Everything that made the later show great could be found there. If this episode flopped, the whole show would flop. And it works oh so well. This episode is why we got six seasons.

Plus, unlike many other episode 11s, it’s still very funny! It’s probably one of the funniest episodes of the show! I love the drug montage, the Dr. Who jokes, and the most realistic depiction of procrastination this side of SpongeBob.

For me, I think its gotta be Escape From LA. Its it one of the biggest “Oh shit” moments in the series that just really shows how low BoJack can go

Honestly? Yes And. I think there are a lot of deep moments and I have to call it my favourite at this point.

I don’t really think I can pick one. Obviously I love The View from Halfway Down and Free Churo. I’ve been rewatching Ruthie a bit because of how much of a kick to the stomach that episode is. I also love watching The Face of Depression. It feels like Bojack finally learned how to be the best version of himself in that episode

Fish out of Water. It’s beautiful, hypnotic, weird and melancholy and yet it still makes time for some of the best jokes and animal-based comedy moments in the series. The sea has always been a place of comfort and escape for me and in the same vein the episode is an escape from the darkness of the show where for just a brief moment Bojack can be a good guy and experience being part of a happy family, being a positive role model, truly caring for something outside of himself. But it inevitably all has to end and we have to go back to reality.

Also as an autistic person Bojack’s inability to communicate and to find the precious words to make or break a relationship really resonated with me.
