I never really about it before, but there are many it seems that did divorce and the people stayed in America even over going home to their families.

Does anyone know how many? A bunch of people split up pretty fast once filming stopped

If you think about it they actually did quite a lot to “earn” the green card:

      -Workout and learn basic English

      - Make appealing online profile

      - Make (bonus points: rich) American fall in love and commit

      - Leave family and stay with American

      - Marry

      - Stand through good and bad until green card is secured

or be Manuel and do almost nothing of these points but still succeed probably 🤷‍♂️

I cannot stand Manuel one bit. I actually, think the Bruja is very pretty and she’s funny AF. What is appealing about Manuel is beyond me….

Lmao this is what I’ve been saying. There are people who should get an honorary green card just for dealing with some bottom-of-the-barrel trash so another American doesn’t have to. Mohammed and mykul come to mind immediately

I don’t think that the ones who purely want GC would go on national TV. It’s just too big of a risk, so the number of these people is very low.

K1 and CR1 process is pretty harsh. TLC makes it look easy, but the reality is that it takes a year and then you have a conditional GC. Only after the conditional is removed you are a true LPR. Removing the conditional requires more background checks and proof that the marriage is bona fide.

What I think it happens is that these people are dumb AF. With few exceptions, most met for a short period in person. They only know the pene size and that’s all fun and glamour when traveling, but they have no idea about their partners and often they find out they’re actually pretty incompatible. Who the hell would marry someone that’s been together for 10 days in total? Yes. There are people like this and that’s what TLC is also looking for, because they’re very prone to disasters.

Plenty are on the show who just want a GC. Look at Mohamed for example. Larissa and Coltee divorced before she even got her work permit (EAD) or 2yr GC but remained in the US. Dont think USCIS is out there watching the show for scammers

The government watched and saw Apollo from RHOA. Found out he was hiding items in Kandis garage. The government watched the Guidices from RHONJ.

Some of the couples on here have taped their interviews inside, waiting outside or online. We the non government aren’t the only ones watching. Maybe they aren’t watching for scammers and just entertainment but if you see something you’re going to report it.

I tend to think Larissa woulda stuck it out and been happy with Coltie had his mother not been her sister wife. Like clearly the majority of tension we watched was that girl fighting for priority over an old hag who she has to share her life with. Their scenes are the most toxic to watch IMO. He was using her as a sex doll and mother was his true wife. 🤮.
I think Larissa gets a bad rep but I don’t think it was solely green card she thought he was more normal than he was in reality. That’s my take.

I think many scammers would still do it for the clout, cause that’s what most people in the show are looking for these days. Also, some of them aren’t very bright (managing to trick someone into marrying them doesn’t count, if anything the show makes it seem quite easy)

I wouldn’t call it fake. Most everything is an exchange.

In this show Americans bring green card, security ,electricity, hot water and plumbing to the table.

The foreigners are almost always very pretty and quite often nice.

When there’s a completely obvious attractiveness disparity I’m always curious if the relationship is transactional. Even if one of them doesn’t know it. For example Danielle and Mohamed.

Once they step foot in America, they’re in, for life. That’s a huge motivator. If you notice, a lot of the people on the show send a lot of money back home every month. That’s the goal for most, I suspect. Make money in America and send it home.

I think you’re underestimating the huge commitment of moving to a new country and building a life there. Even if your relationship with your SO fails, this is now the country where the rest of your current life is.

Uprooting your whole existence once more likely isn’t a very attractive option.

The American immigration system is not smart enough to filter the scams effectively. Some I guess just play the game really good. Think Mike and Natalie

I think it’s more about being on tv then anything else. I’d say 90% hours f the actors on the show care more about c list celebrity status then the manufactured relationships.

Honestly who cares!!! The amount of judgement we have for people from these poor countries, well upholding these incel men as sweet and kind… as if we are not all adults.

People seek relationships for the multitude of benefits they bring. That looks different for every couple. I see too many excuses for the Americans as if they are just naïve. When the truth is they are complicit in their own relationships.

As someone who is a former cam girl… these men LOVE spending money on women. Because transactional relationships are easier than the real deal. If they wanted real intimacy they would be dating within there incel league. THEY DONT WANT AN INCEL WOMAN, THEY WANT A JASMINE, an USMAAN, etc. 😂 so they pay for wives from other countries, they find beautiful men from other countries to hook up with and they cut the check.

Nobody is innocent on this show.
