it’s only like a month long wait. if we’re getting like 1 season per year let’s say, i’d rather have the snow stretch out over a longer period of time so i can interact with the community & build hype more between episodes. though that’s less important with a show based on comics. either way it’s not too long. everyone’s waited longer before
I don’t mind it but like why? This show only has 8 episodes a season and 4 episodes then a break makes it feel like they are rushing plots a bit since they need a mid season finale. It made since with breaking bad and the walking dead as they had 16 episodes a season, but for a show with half that, really?
“Only 8 episodes per season” isn’t really a thing to complain about considering they’re twice the length of a normal animated series so it’s really more like 16 episodes.
It could be that due to the writers strikes Amazon has less content to release, so they’re spreading what they do have out more.
In October Kirkman said they were still polishing up the second season, so I’m guessing the final episodes weren’t finished.
It really doesn’t make any sense. This isn’t studio mappa taking projects after projects and overworking their animators to zombie like state. It’s ONLY 8 episodes. You had 2 years for this. Should’ve just released season 2 in jan 2024.
