mark was getting clobbered by fucking maulers 3 episodes ago now he’s able to beat a full grown soldier viltrumite that’s been conquering worlds for millennia just because he “stopped holding back”. Even Nolan who got hospitalized by the guardians while soloing them, only suffered a cut on his head fighting THREE viltrumites!!! Just makes them look weak in comparison. I feel like they shouldn’t even have any chance winning that battle at all, not alone surviving in better condition than against way weaker foes

    Good reasoning but it definitely shouldn’t have been her, she’s been around FOREVER and has centuries of battle experience. You can see her looking the exact same in the first great purge flashback in S1. She’s way older than Nolan and Viltrumites don’t get any weaker with age

      Show might have just nerfed her. I know there were a few “fodder” viltramites so they may have just made a change in who’s at the top.

      There are things that age and experience can’t make up for. For example if you fight a guy a like Brock Lesnar, all the experience in the world isn’t going to make for anything if your physique just isn’t genetically built for heavyweights.

      There are younger Viltrumites that are stronger than Nolan and there are older Viltrumites that are weaker than him. Age isn’t the difference maker in this series
