I think the biggest issue with Bojack is he kept repeating the cycle of toxicity throughout his life. Like getting the job as a professor in Michigan was his big break but then he again sabotaged it, at which point I was a bit tired and almost felt the show was not freeing him because then it stops the show.

He could’ve just let the past go and accept his problems to himself. But he again went full out looking for validation from others. With the interviewer he was acting all hopeless and like a victim as if he wasn’t the one who insisted to have the interview on the 1st place.

So there was a time in my life I was acting in a very self-destructive manner and comparing my life with Bojack’s and sometimes blaming it all on my past even, not taking responsibility but Bojack did take responsibility at some point just was supposed to let it go and do good in the present – which is what I’m doing right now or aspiring to.

But maybe for Bojack there was always the calling, people set out against his failing and him responding to it for something to prove because he has a bigger audience.

So Ig in the end why most of us might not be Bojack is because we can’t afford to be Bojack, we won’t have people like Princess Carolyn who would make excuses for us, defending us with PR tactics and whatnot. And we might even have less enemies around as we don’t usually work in such a cutthroat environment as Hollywoo.

Truth is exposing Bojack only sells magazines and brings views, but does it actually do anybody much of any good?

Who were bojack’s “enemies”? And how do they relate to the horrible things bojack did? Angela did bullshit him, but it isn’t uncommon to be bullshitted by people you work with. Either way, not an excuse.
The exposing of bojack is a consequence of his shitty actions, like a robber who gets caught and goes to jail, so yes, it does some good.

Saying people can’t be Bojack because of their environment feels like your reducing Bojack’s accountability, but I personally prefer Todds approach: “It’s you
