I don’t understand what was so groundbreaking that we need not only more than the normal week to think on it, but months to absorb? None of this makes sense. All they are doing is pissing their fans off and killing hype…
There was nothing groundbreaking about it at all.
You could read that as him correcting himself from accidentally telling the truth that it’s a few weeks away and that he is not able to disclose that yet.
I suspect they at least don’t have a firm date yet, but I still think it’s most likely because they aren’t done yet and it’s going to be more like months.

I know it’s hard to animate Atom Eve’s logo, but seriously . . .
ITT: morons they are stretching out seasons because you are all crying over a 2 month wait. They are spreading it out so there is less of a gap between seasons. If they release all 16 in a day then you will all binge watch and then whine for a year.
Almost unrelated but I’m a big fan of The Shield and I recently watched the cast reunion, and I remember them saying “we became hugely popular but we decided to keep our heads down, not be influenced by our success and keep on going”.
Invincible feels the opposite, they saw how shocked everybody was during season 1 and decided to turn that into a selling argument, but what was huge about episode 4 really ? Do they think we’re dumb ? They’re either splitting the season in two because the production is chaotic or because Amazon wants to use the show to keep boosting their numbers or something. Maybe I’m wrong but they can’t seriously believe the first part of the season was shocking or gave us anything that we should let sink in.
They just cut the momentum for nothing, and we waited two years for terrible animation. I hope they do something good with season 3 because the story alone won’t carry the show.
