Why can’t they just work like normal human beings like us, so that they can provide for their family and their pets? Ugh. So frustrating!
Because being on the show is a transaction you agree to where you trade dignity for easy paychecks, at least for the later seasons. Even if TLC is only paying them 1000 USD each per episode (minimum I could find with a quick Google), Brandan and Mary would have made $36000 so far from this season alone. If you divide that payment out through the course of a single year it is roughly $98.50 per day compared to the convienence store’s ~50cents per day.

You still have to feed it though. It’s likely been chained up at least a year. If they were so worried about money and food, having an extra mouth to fed would be impossible.
On one of the lives just posted you can hear a bunch of dogs barking. I hope they don’t have dogs :(
They do have 2 or 3 dogs which they feed pizza or whatever they have that’s going I’m the trash to be burned. People have been on them about too. Never see them feeding them dog food.

I really don’t like them and feel so much pity for their children.
They’re trying to make themselves appear as happy and cutesy in this video, wearing color coordinated clothes which makes them look like prison outfits.
