Haha, maybe I didn’t understand it at the time. But I found it difficult to read and follow. The humor didn’t resonate with me either.

Paradise Lost. Before reading it I had read a lot of the western canon and bible, which provided the necessary context for understanding the many allusions in the book, which felt like an accomplishment

Just finished Frankenstein and it was so good. The part when the monster recounts his life story is gold

Ah man I hated that book
