I was just going to say the same, she’s just another one who has not bothered to learn, research, study the countries customs, traditions & attitudes. They seem to think they can go to another country & things will be the same as it is in the USA it isn’t, & no they won’t change their whole culture just because you say so.

There are countries in the world where being gay, is illegal, where that will land you in prison or worse. There are countries where to be a woman makes you invisible, where you are property, where it is acceptable to have you murdered because you won’t do as your told.

Why do you not research the place you are going to?

She strikes me as just being totally overwhelmed by everything going on around her, the screaming session at the end of last nights program, there seemed to be a lot of frustration involved in that, as well as not knowing how to communicate with someone who blatantly isn’t listening or understand - it’s meltdown territory - seem my ASD kids respond in the same way when they are totally overwhelmed.

She’s been lied too by her husband, she feels that no one has, or is telling her the truth, she can’t communicate with her mother-in-law, who very obviously sees her as a pain in the arse. TJ is very liberal in his interpretation of what is being said to her. TJ said it himself several times “she didn’t know what was coming” & he wasn’t going to tell her, which is an awful thing to do to someone who has moved to a completely new country, (with very different cultural expectations in regards to women & their roles within that society.) and very obviously thinks she can live according to her own culture, American society is completely different to Indian culture & no you can’t move to somewhere like India & demand everyone adapts to your way of living.

Kimberly really doesn’t seem to have done any research into the culture she’s married into, she says she wants to learn, but imo she should have done that before she married TJ

Not being able to look at other girls it’s not funny, it’s sad….being allowed to go to the shop by himself is an improvement, he’s a fully grown adult for gawd sake.
