I have a theory that Gino got fired from his job because it makes no sense he would quit his job when he’s always so worried about financial stability and has been telling Jasmine that he’s gonna bring her kids over.

His whole contention that he was planning to take off for a year to help her transition to the U.S. Especially because he didn’t even get groceries for her. I get his ignorance about honey and veganism because I believe some vegans disagree about honey so whatever. But seeing her with a plate of cashews 😭 killed me lol

Anyway what are your thoughts??? Do you think he got fired or that he really is dumb enough to quit? I know they filmed him with a packed box in an office building parking lot but that means nothing lol

    I thought he said he was taking a year out, wanted to get her settled before going back to work, or at least that was the way I understood what he said

      Same, but the last two episodes he keeps saying he quit so that’s why I was thinking he had gotten fired bc his story isn’t straight. But people commented that he likely took a leave of absence which would make actual sense. I mean. Not a whole year, lol, but in general a leave would make sense

    I got fired from my job because I kept asking my customers whether they would prefer “Smoking” or “Non-smoking”. Apparently the correct terms are “Cremation” and “Burial”.

    I think he intended to take a leave for the 90 days, until they are married. Many of the couples have a terrible time of it when the “new” resident is trying to adjust to a new life without family and friends, and their partner is always at work. So I think he actually had a genuinely sensible idea, but either he has taken too much time off to get an approved leave of absence, or he just went about it in a stupid way and quit.

    FWIW, according to his LinkedIn he’s been at the same job since 6/2021. He could be lying about that.

    Considering, however, that he dutifully recorded his year long employment gap before that, I’m inclined to believe him.

    If he did get fired, he’s collecting unemployment. I don’t think so. I thought he said he was taking a hiatus initially. So I’m wondering if he really stopped working or if this for drama for the show.
