Who says they are similar in strength? Thula is old enough to where her hair is fully gray and is smaller. She’s probably significantly weaker.
Also, as you’ll see and might have noticed, Viltrumites do not all have the same potential.

They would. However, as the other person pointed out, it’s faster to just find another compatible race.
Nolan just being a dilf, could have had hundreds if not tens of thousands of kids in the short span of time he was on Earth had he chosen to.
And that’s if he was just taking his time.
Whereas a female Viltrumite can only have about 1 per year, all while waiting for the new female Viltrumites to come of age as well. That’s a very long time to get their numbers up sufficiently.
Theoretically, though, they should have been doing that in the first place, at least as a temporary measure, until they found a compatible species.
Certain Viltrumite bloodlines are stronger than others and Mark is still just a teenager.
He’s not even at prime muscle mass yet.
That’s why I said many did NOT enjoy the war.
Me saying there’s many like him is a historic point. There’s been millions of Jack Churchills, but that’s a minor number compared to the rest of humanity.
After being beaten to pieces by his own father, Mark was treated for his physical wounds, but not his mental ones. Why not?
Because you don’t need a doctor for minor injuries or sicknesses. Which is what this is to Mark. Had they left Mark on that mountain and not given him medical treatment, he still would’ve healed due to his powers. The physical treatment was undeeded.
Which goes into the next point:
As for your analogy, it covers a very specific minority of people,
Mark is the minority of people. A mental injury suxh as this is minor for him and he can heal on his own.
Which again is the point of his character. He’s Invincible because of his will and mind, not because of his body. There is nothing you can do to him to permanently keep him down outside of straight up killing him.
Besides he’ll go through far worse in the future. Such as >! Being raped and missing years of his daughters life due to unwilling time travel !<
Most WW2 veterans did indeed not enjoy the war and had various forms of PTSD.
However, again, there are many humans who are just born different. Killing another human being to them is just like any animal killing another in nature.
To quote the one I mentioned above:
“If it wasn’t for those damn Yanks, we could have kept the war going another 10 years!” - Jack Churchill.
This was his response to finding out the atom bombs were dropped on Japan, as he was unhappy that the war was ending as he deployed to India.
He wasn’t an officer who just sat drinking tea behind friendly lines either. He led raids and even engaged the Germans in martial combat with a sword he carried during WW2.
He proceeded to go fight in post WW2 conflicts.
Therapy isn’t a cure or be all end all like reddit makes it out to be. Even then, what would therapy do for Mark?
This also goes into why Mark is Invincible. Not because he can’t be beaten physically, but because it’s damn near impossible to break him mentally.
It’s not even a fantasy thing, either. Trauma doesn’t affect everyone the same. Some people get PTSD from a terrible event. Others go through a terrible war like WW2, personally kill others and see their comrades die, and come out the other side thinking, “That was quite fun.”
Or, in other words, read about the life of men like Mad Jack Churchill.
It kinda feels like they’re doing a reverse of what anime does. Instead of making filler so the source material can catch up, they’re cutting filler from the already finished material.
He should, actually.
As we’ll see with >! all the bug hybrid kids the Viltrumites will have to breed a new army, they all gain normal Human/Viltrumite skin tones eventually post time skip in the epilogue instead of staying purple. !<
However, there’s no way they’d white wash Mark and remove his Asian features. That would probably start a controversy.
