I think it’s very likely we get Tech Jacket when Allen and Nolan do their recruiting for the Viltrumite War, which likely isn’t going to happen until S4.

Might not get to it until S3 but we’ll get there. They’re otherwise re-writing quite a few major plot points to come, which is why I think it’s doubtful they just drop it.

So, not really a big spoiler in any sense, but, regardless:

!After one fairly extreme injury to come, it is explained that Viltrumite brains can survive for a decent period of time without oxygen. With the absurdity of their healing capacity, it stands to reason general trauma counts as “heal-able” for Viltrumite brains.!<

All this to say, brain must go squeesh.

Nobody in this world (Viltrumites especially) is dead unless head go splat or heart go squeesh. Even then there’s a couple fake-outs.

I thought Blondie was gonna bite it but they didn’t show him fully crush his skull so, stands to reason he made it.

So it’s hard to give you a “chapter” per se. The show has rearranged a number of things.

The fight we saw in Ep 4 happens in Issue 29, but Rudy getting his body doesn’t start until Issue 30, and the Reanimen fight we saw in Season 1 doesn’t really conclude until Issue 36.

Most people think Season 2 concludes on the fight in Issue 32/33.

They’re planting more bread crumbs to the Mark v Cecil fight it seems. I agree I would have liked to see some of the cut Thraxa stuff though.

So I tried to point out characters I don’t think we heard that appear after Thraxa-

• Sequid host, Rus

• Multi-Paul

• Mr Liu, dragon guy that fights Titan.

• Brit, who appears at the end of the Lizard League fight

• Paul, Debbie’s rebound.

If they do Dr Seismic Round 3, that’s the first Invincible issue that introduces a ton of new heroes that he could voice also. I dunno how many of those characters the show will keep, if any, though.

You should mark this as comic spoilers if you’re just gonna drop a major story plot line like that.
