Tschick. It’s about two boys on a road trip. It’s not my favorite, but it does deserve more recognition.

I don’t think anything of them. Some people like dancing, some people don’t. Some people like horseriding, some people don’t. You wouldn’t say "You just haven’t found the right dance yet“ or "You just haven’t found the right riding discipline yet“. You accept the fact that they just don’t like it. Why should that be any different with books?
That’s not what this post is about tho.

Dracula.
My copy has a ton of spelling mistakes.
While having a great start, the story gets boring very quickly. Didn’t finish it.

Or you make it clear that you DON‘T want YA? If someone doesn’t want spice, they make it clear. If someone doesn’t want fantasy, they make it clear. If someone doesn’t want something, they make it clear.

Interview with the vampire
I am a slow reader and I don’t read every day. But for my measurements, I did read a lot in October and November. I finished 3 books and one comic . I don’t know how long each of it took me though.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The book itself isn’t that bad, at least not the part I’ve read. But my German edition has more spelling mistakes than all of my other books combined. Unfortunately, I bought it second hand. Otherwise I would’ve returned it.
George Orwell‘s "1984“. It was written in 48 / 49, so it took place in the future. We’re not that extreme (yet?), but there are similarities.
Wym "very German“?
