It’s pretty close so far. They’ve expanded a few things, changed a bit, but it follows the same overall story beats very closely. We’ve only seen 2 episodes so far so who knows, but reviews have been highly positive for the first 4 episodes so take a look at those if you want to know more.

Then don’t watch it, simple as that. The story over the whole series is great and I’d recommend you give it a chance past the first episode, but if you don’t enjoy it that’s fine too
