  • I totally get you! I had a similar experience with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I was skeptical about YA dystopian sci-fi too, but I gave it a shot. Surprisingly, I found myself hooked, especially delving into Coriolanus Snow’s mind and the intricate Capitol class dynamics. It had its flaws, like inconsistent pacing and the Hunger Games being a bit lackluster, but overall, it was a worthwhile read. Can’t wait to see how the film captures it! Have you come across any other books that pleasantly surprised you?

  • I used to be a binge-reader, devouring book series in one go. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more of a slow reader. I like to mix things up, explore different genres, and savor the anticipation of returning to a series. It’s like catching up with an old friend and rediscovering why we connected in the first place.
