Agree on Never Let Me Go. — While it’s touted as speculative fiction, it really has strong horror elements. I wish I’d never read it. The psychological abuse- just gross.
The ideas aren’t original either- done earlier/better by at least Robin Cook (Coma) and in various other scifi books/shorts.
