Exactly. That’s the entire reason why they make sure the American person makes a certain amount of money. They agree to support this person until the green card comes which seems to take at minimum a year. I doubt he enjoys having to rely on her for financial support. It appears that he worked quite hard in Ecuador to support his family.

I think Manuel has a point. Other people shouldn’t be all up in their money business. And I thought everyone knew that people from poorer Hispanic or Caribbean countries send money back to their families when they get to the US. He has a point with that too.
