Haven’t read the comics yet, but honestly, I find it hard to believe that a comic could invoke the emotion the season 1 finale did. I mean, it was probably good in its own way as per the medium, but I feel like the show has managed to elevate the emotion to new heights.

From what I’ve seen, it seems that Mark was born with more untapped potential than the average Viltrumite.
