I do not understand why Rob is so desperate to marry Sophie when he isn’t fully adulting with more than one indoor room in his life, unless she’s promised him a lump sum to stay together untill the green card arrives. There are better-equipped pool houses and she sheds, and if he expects a 23 year old in LA to stay married til death, he’s delulu and his homies need to do an intervention.

Agree. The situation Kimberly is in is terrible, but she was talking in circles and not offering solutions on how to make things better. The vibe TJ gave was that he’s out of suggestions and fs to give and wasn’t going to baby her with hugs and attention any more when she isn’t trying any other way to live there. They looked like they were at their breaking point, and their mutual stubbornness and toxic communication style pretty much ensure things won’t improve.

Although she was willfully naive for believing that her life there would be anything other than what it is - the red flags were fluttering and flashing way before the wedding day, it looks like she didn’t do any research on the average woman’s life there, and she’s fortunate that abuse hasn’t occurred in such a hostile family situation - her avoiding his family was probably the smartest thing she could do to keep from escalating the situation.

It’s always interesting when family members who criticize you and cause conflict can’t handle someone completely withdrawing from drama and get in their feelings about it. Next week should be good.

Watching a bit of Pillow Talk, and the two brothers on the sofa are giving toxic manosphere vibes re talking about how American women are “colder” than other nationalities and the bros before hoes bracelet.

Also, Sarper and Shekinah:

1. Are such a terrible couple that they seem like they were recruited separately from OnlyFans. However, it is obvious that Shekinah has gone to therapy because of the way she is intelligently contending with him on not wanting a child.
2. Have both somewhat abandoned their children. Why would Sarper think that she thought that a unrepentant Insta playboy in his 40s would want kids if they hadn’t been discussed?
3. Have willfully ignored the red flags about each other just to get in the 90 day universe. They are gross on multiple levels, and I hope that TLC doesn’t include them in any other programs.

How did they even approve this guy for the show? He may be sane, but the mom in the closet is something out of Psycho or some thriller that I would be happy to pitch to A29 and make a zillion dollars out of. I mean, you can’t find a convertible sofa for the woman or see if there’s some affordable housing program that would help her with a rental?
