Probably a book that had a very weird incipit, it went something like “Gaga was a small polar bear and when she was born she was such a scaredy-cat, that she immediately hid, her butthole opening to the moon entering her innards”. Or something similar, don’t remember exactly. That gave me such nasty furry vibes I backpedaled so hard out of the bookshop lol.

That literally was fabricated as far as I remember, like many “problematic” things people have done. Before hating on someone people really need to do some serious research before jumping on the hate bandwagon.

He didn’t. He literally just said he encountered this story while researching for his book, the plot was already plotted, the books was already being written, he didn’t start making up the story from reading about them. My god.

I watched various movies as a kid where the joke was always the same: “oh noes a man thought the hot chick was a girl but she was really a boy with a dick and he got it up his ass ahrahr”. They were labeled as movies for the whole family. The humor was anti gay and anti trans of course, but I still got the joke. Does this mean the homophobes who wrote those jokes were pushing gay sex onto me as a child? Grow up, sex is a part of life. Kids will know regardless, imho it’d be better to learn about anal sex from something more delicate than a crass 90s movie.

I’m tired of these tumblr takes. It’s why I left the fandom. Too few real fans left and too many fans that seem more interested in out-woking you with the most absurd take and then shame you if you don’t believe their theory.
