I think it’s similar to when you know you’re getting your picture taken vs. a candid. You still look like you, but you’re more conscientious about how you’re presented.
She seems to have a problem with emotional regulation that hasn’t really been addressed, which comes out more in times of stress or when she feels unheard. A lot of people struggle with this if they’re not taught to regulate how they feel/express themselves in situations when they are younger, they just don’t go on television lol.
The delete you comment could also be a language barrier thing.
I work at a dental office and when asking about prior history I’ve had people say they’ve had teeth “deleted” or in other words extracted.
It makes sense in context but a very fucked up thing to say to someone you “love”.
