Even after everything, I think Bojack and Herb could’ve had a friendship again if he kept visiting him. Like if he turned up again a week later and said “I’m sorry. Again. Of course you’ll never forgive me, but I did enjoy seeing you. Let’s do this more”. Then who knows, maybe after 6 months or so Herb may have genuinely forgave him.

I think you’re just observing that despite all the silly humour, satire and jokes at the expense of all, Matt and Trey are actually good human beings.

I agree. I’m not saying Bojack shouldn’t have got comeuppance in some form, but let’s not pretend Paige was all about Altruism. She couldn’t give a fuck about that shit, she wanted money and/or fame for selling a story. Also the fact it happened after Bojack got sober and was on his best behaviour seemed a bit harsh, especially considering he was fully willing to be held accountable before he made improvements.
If Gina, or someone came forward on the other hand, obviously I’d think yeah good on her.

Hey bro. I don’t really know how to tell you this but… the writers kind of realised how fucked up the whole “8 dads thing” actually is so me and the whole storyline is being written out of the show completely. It’s not only that though, it’s also because we’ve been cancelled by Netflix as well so they really need to cut out a lot of shit to wrap everything up in these last few episodes.
Anyway so sorry mate! I hope you stay sober and don’t kill yourself. Maybe see you on an Adult Swim reboot in a few years or something? Probably not though.

You also need to consider Bojack’s conversation with Todd. Todd said he was sure he would never have a relationship with his mother again, but now… there’s always a chance Bojack and Hollyhock could reconnect at some point. Especially a few years from now after she’s finished college and he’s still sober and doing well.
