I LOVE that book so much it just fills my heart with such joy. I had to read the original French version for my high school French class and it’s probably my favorite book ever, as childish as that may be there’s just something so special about it

Ohh well I may have made a mistake as I don’t really care much for romance lol I’ve been reading mainly thriller/suspense novels but prior to this year I hadn’t read a book since high school so I was looking for recommendations to get back into reading. I’ll save the Colleen Hoover books for my plane trip back home for Christmas, give myself a break from the suspense.
Oh no lol I’ve had multiple people recommend her to me and I just bought 3 of her books because target is having a really good sale right now….
Well, cats are actually more likely to contract rabies than dogs, so…
When I was in college I used to be a nanny and I would work for this family who was super religious and had like 7-8 kids. One day, the youngest baby was sleeping in a crib in the parents’ room and I’d heard her crying so I went to get her and I just happened to notice a book on the dresser titled something like “Understanding Your Spouse’s Sex Addiction”
Definitely made sense where all those kids came from…
Yeah, same, it took me 2-3 times to fully grasp what was going on, and I think you’re right about it being intentional.
The part that stuck with me the most was the part about the foot. I can’t get that image out of my head and I get chills everytime I think about it.
Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
I liked it ok but had I known what the big reveal was I probably wouldn’t have read it
I used to only ever read when I’d fly but now I try to read at night before bed to wind down and in the mornings on my days off when I drink coffee.
I spend 12-14hrs a day on work (this includes getting ready and my commute) so I also have very limited time to read.
I’m a physical book reader (nothing against other forms, it’s just what’s easier for me) and I definitely won’t buy a book if I don’t like the cover.
I’m sorry, I’m really really so sorry, but Verity by Colleen Hoover. My coworker recommended it to me and I liked it for a bit but then it ended and there’s no resolution, and there were some parts I felt were so stupid I had to put it down and stop reading. And 90% of it they’re just having sex. It was garbage. But you know what? I’d read it again lmao
