I just fast forward them now, but why haven’t they been cut from the show after Igor was wearing an SS uniform? This is repulsive to me. Has TLC even addressed this? What kind of message does that send?

    They kept Geoffrey on the show and he had a past criminal record plus pending charges for assault and kidnapping - for which he has now been convicted and put in prison for 18 years - so can’t imagine a video of someone wearing an offensive costume would faze them…

        Only after his whole season aired. So a token missed episode after a full season showing him. And he was charged before the season even started airing so not like it wasn’t known in advance

    I don’t think it’s that deep. Kids these days aren’t educated about WWII as strongly as we were growing up. Especially in his country, maybe there’s not as much anti-Nazi sentiment? So then it is reduced to something taboo and rebellious rather than straight up evil

    I don’t think he thinks he’s a Nazi so much as he’s just trying to shock people

      tlc doesn’t care because the viewership in large part have demonstrated it’s nbd to them and tlc is all about the $$. they don’t lose viewers because of it and don’t get a ton of bad press, they don’t care. t’s another signal that antisemitism, if even just passive, is on the rise.

    At this point, don’t watch the show if you don’t want to see scum bags or controversial people. TLC does not vet their participants.

    TLC has no morals, lol. A creep and a racist is light work for them.

    These two are boring as hell, so maybe TLC will give them a boot / not give them another season (unless they become interesting).

    To be fair he was the one who wore the costume and we don’t even know if they’re still together I wouldn’t blame her for him wearing it.
