This is their second episode, and we honestly haven’t seen much of them for the two episodes they’ve been on. Having watched this show for seasons, I’m withholding judgement until much further into the season.

I was just saying Mary ascribes to the Jenelle Evans school of relationships where you gotta post your fight on sm and block each other.
She seems to subscribe to the Jenelle Evans school of managing relationships. Post a bunch of lovey stuff about her partner, defend her partner and self against anyone who is critical, make fighting posts including clips of the fight, make vague depressing/sad posts, remove posts about partner, lather, rinse, repeat.
Yup in one of their first episodes Gino is going to make her eggs for breakfast. And she tells him, “I’m vegan” and it’s clear he has ZERO clue what that means.
Some of this, particularly anything with Jasmine and Gino, is producer driven drama. Producers aren’t looking for healthy couples, they are looking for drama. And drama means dysfunction so the show is heavy on couples who can’t and don’t communicate well. Interestingly so far this season none of the communication problems stem from lack of a common language, which has been a common feature of previous seasons.
With these two I assume everything is a badly staged bid for attention.
Because TLC doesn’t care and not enough of the viewers do either.
I’ve used Molly as a bra fitter. I have giant boobs on a small frame, and I have to say the bras she fitted me with are excellent.
A “friend” of a cheater claiming he’s not a cheater while making a bid for him? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you. (Sips martini)
A lot of these are producer driven story arcs. Like at this point I think about 90% of Jasmine and Gino are manufactured for the show. Some of it is a combination of poor communication and conflict avoidance. In the case of Sophie, I can see why she wouldn’t tell Rob the Knob she’s bi because he’s already incredibly insecure. The probably is she’s only delaying his response. Like he’s going to explode whether she tells him now or tells him two weeks from now.
They already said on the show that it wasn’t dollars, but in local currency.
But now he and Miona are “urban nomads.”
There are three couples yet to be introduced. Normally I would think this means one of the couples is going to crumble, but last season of before the 90 days they had sooooo many couples it was hard to keep track of everybody. I suspect they are doing the same here.
Right I forgot about the baby.
They separated and I’m pretty sure they divorced. I think Hamza was in the Chicago area of memory serves. Memphis was on insta a lot but apparently no longer has an account. I’m guessing all the attention she got after walking off the tell all was too much for her.
Honestly that was some of the saddest “romance” I’ve ever seen. Like you have the candles so you can dim the lights! If you’re gonna do a massage, set the whole scene with a relaxing soundscape, dim the lights, have some spa water or at least something refreshing and cold for her to drink on the bedside table. Some flowers wouldn’t have hurt either.
But also kick out the damn tv crew.
Of course she’s considering leaving when you think about what she’s being asked to give up and what’s she getting in exchange.
