I get they say stuff like this to drum up interest but why do comic adaptations always act like they’re doing some crazy off the wall shit that nobody will expect? The Boys hyped up herogasm like it was the second coming and we’d all be talking about it for years to come only for it to be mildly gross at best and not even really the focus of the episode. Like, I’ve read invincible, even if you’re changing it up a little I have a general idea of what’s coming lol.
what is herogasm
The boys take on major superhero events
Pushing what, exactly? So far all it’s done is speedrun the story at a glacial pace.
I know they can’t adapt the comic panel for panel, but WTH is even going on? Debbie has anger management issues, because that’s somehow better than her alcoholism. Eve and Amber apparently switched personalities and Donald doesn’t know what he is for… reasons?
F’ing WHY?! I don’t understand all these oddly arbitrary changes to the story.speedrun the story
Not really? This is where the story goes in the comics too.

Donald doesn’t know what he is for… reasons?
Donald was unaware >!that he was a cyborg!< in the comics, too. It just happens off-screen because he is a legacy Image character.
In addition to everything the other guy said, Debbie’s alcoholism has been shown pretty clearly. Couldn’t be more obvious unless they had Mark hold a sign up to the screen saying “my mother is now has a drinking problem because of Omni man”
That photo reminds me of eves dad and I can’t unsee it.
samanthaaaa
The bane of my eardrums.
I mean so far has anything really been pushed or is this speaking solely like production wise which does seemed improved
I do not agree at all that production seems improved
