I knew he was being voiced by Peter Cullen, and I still went nuts when he started talking. When I watch this again with my friends I know the episode will immediately devolve into us all screaming “AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT” whenever he moves

In addition to everything the other guy said, Debbie’s alcoholism has been shown pretty clearly. Couldn’t be more obvious unless they had Mark hold a sign up to the screen saying “my mother is now has a drinking problem because of Omni man”

There have also been some teases of an insane cameo. Idk if show fans would be excited for someone they don’t know like Brit or Tech Jacket. (Also, would tech jacket even show up anyway? I haven’t read the comics but heard he really only shows up in major events like the viltrumite war)

I don’t read the comics but from what I know of the spoilers he’s involved in something pretty major, though not something we’d see until towards the end of the show.

I mean, there’s a difference in terms of realism. Supers busting fish skulls and destroying cities isn’t real, and is standard disaster movie fare. What happens to mark here is a lot more real and personal in its horror.
