I’ve been watching the Mary and Brandon saga unfold this season. Mary is one of my least favorite people on this show ever and is truly evil in my opinion. She’s smart which makes her behavior all the worse. She’s told a few lies along the way which we know about like disconnecting her wifi. When Brandon first started talking about Mary he told us she had a college scholarship to be on the dance team and gave it up. Fast forward a few episodes and Brandon and Mary are talking about asking her grandparents for money. Mary says something along the lines of her grandfather paid for her college. Brandon corrects her and says she had a dance scholarship. Which got me thinking and I honestly think the dance team and college weren’t real. It wouldn’t surprise me if she made it up to sound more appealing to Brandon or even worse guilt him later by saying she gave up college for him. The second option is truly manipulative and I wouldnt put it past her. I’m curious what others think
Maybe she was in college but I don’t believe that Brandon made her quit because there were dudes there. I would put my money on her flunking out because she isn’t very bright. And her fantasy dance team definitely doesn’t exist.
Yeah people keep saying that he’s really jealous but we’ve not seen jealously from him yet. Her snack pack friends were kind of handed to him on a platter to blow up about “hanging out with guys” but he didn’t do that. He seemed more upset about the double standard and that he couldn’t maintain friendships with anyone versus who she was hanging out with.
100% agree. He hasn’t shown much jealousy to her in comparison.
I got chewed out for pointing that out in this sub. There’s a lot of gullible people in here. If he was a psycho who made her actually stop hanging out with her friends I don’t think he could have contained himself when she admitted she has not only been lying to him but also hanging out with three men during the “blackouts”.
